A glass, a burning cigar, a room after midnight. These objects appear to promise a familiar story, yet no single event holds them together.
Moving between self-portrait, still life, and encounters with others, Whisky & Cigars assembles fragments of gestures, rooms, and absences into a fiction. The people and objects do not illustrate what happened; they retain the pressure of something that may have happened.
What remains is not a record of a night, but its atmosphere—smoke, distance, desire, and the unstable boundary between memory and invention.
